August
24th. Evangelistic Picnic On
Sunday August 24th we spent the day at lake Kapchagai. We hired 2 buses and invited many
non-believers. 108 people came about half of which were
non-believers. We met at church, had a short worship service
and then headed for the beach. |

We found a beautiful spot about 2 hours from Almaty to spend the
day. Many of these people would never attend a church, but they
really enjoyed a day at the beach with their believing
friends. |
|
|
| We
literally filled the beach. Many of these people had not been to the
beach in many years. So it was a very exciting time for them. |

| After a
big lunch of sandwiches. We cut and ate 210 lbs of watermelon! |
Played
volleyball and sat in the shade. |

| Our next
door neighbors Voosala and Nargeeza (far left) came. Next to Lucy
(our oldest daughter) is Fatima. She is a young believer in our
church. |
Yerken (far
right) brought his children from a previous marriage none of whom are
believers. |
