November 7, 2003: We have suspended English Clubs. With my increased workload as pastor, something had to go! This is a perfect ministry for someone who is new in Kazakhstan. If you are interested please email us and we can hook you up with a steady source of students and a facility to use for your clubs. Kevin
These groups meet in the city every Wednesday afternoon and evening. We proclaim the gospel every week as we read and discuss passages of scripture and Gospel tracts in class. We also play a new game every week. Praise God that several of our past students have professed faith in Jesus Christ. Please pray for this year's students in the photos below.
2/11/2003: We usually have a higher drop out rate than this winter. With only 2 classes left we still have 19 of our original 36 students.
3/4/2003: We start another 11 weeks session (called level 2) tomorrow. Don't know yet how many students we will have. Around 20 have signed up. We will study phonics, an overview of the Bible using scripture passages, and finish translating the Jesus film from Russian to English. We will also start a new level 1 group tomorrow.
