English Club for Kazakh adults at our ministry center/apartment started January 8th. This group meets at 7pm on Mondays. We praise God that this group has grown and that we have the chance to build our friendships with these teens and adults. We have 3 regulars: Bowerdjan and Talhrat (both age 17) and Alex (23). Alex is a medical student studying epidemiology. 11/7/2003: After a long summer break and wondering if we still had time to do this with all of our new responsibilities at Alpha Omega Fellowship, we decided to keep it going. Our numbers have dropped off a little. Last winter we had 9 high school age students now we have only 3 after 3 weeks. Pray that we build up again and for God to put questions in their hearts about Christianity. |
