November 7, 2003 Update:  We have suspended this ministry due to my increased workload of pastoring Alpha Omega Fellowship.  We still see all of these children regularly.  Pray for opportunities to share Christ with them.  Kevin

English Club for Kazakh Children at our ministry center/apartment started January 8th.  The groups meet on Monday at 10am and 3pm (only at 3pm in the summer).  School children here go to school in 2 shifts.  They are either morning shift kids or  afternoon shift kids.  It is sad that there is no "after school" time for everyone.  The afternoon kids don't get home from school until 7pm.  So we have two groups during the school year.  These classes are taught by Kevin.  Pray that we will be able to form friendships with their parents.  Evangelizing to children is practically illegal here (although technically it is not illegal).  These children are tomorrow's adults.   By God's grace these friendships will bear fruit later on.
