Please use this page to pray for our unsaved friends here. This page is for people who do not attend our church. (Goolmira is an exception because she just started attending our church last year.) The unsaved relatives of those who attend our church are listed on the Regular Attenders page. See: Profiles of Regular Attenders 2009
In addition to those mentioned below keep praying for.

| People who live in our ministry center building. There are 144 apartments in this building. We sponsor projects to improve the building through our humanitarian fund. Things like playground equipment, fixing the roof, fixing the elevators, buying new pumps for the heating system, building a perimeter fence for security. We also help to pay the salaries of the floor washers. | |

Right: Goolmira (in pink) and Yerbol (in orange)
We met Goolmira in 2001. She was in our English club for 2 years. (See photos of Goolmira in 2001 and 2003 below) She was and continues to be full of questions about God and the Bible and Jesus Christ. We have presented the Gospel and talked about Jesus Christ with her for many dozens of hours over the years, but she is not a believer yet. We visit for birthday dinners and Kazakh holidays 3 or 4 times a year. In 2007 we began seeing more of each other and of her husband Yerbol. He is a narcotics policeman. He enrolled in the police academy when he was 18. All of the instruction was in Russian and he didn't speak a word of Russian when he started. But he stuck it out and did well.
2008: Yerbol had a successful gall bladder operation this year. He can't eat any fat or drink any alcohol since the operation. He is doing great and continuing to work on the police force until the economic situation improves here. Goolmira stated coming to church this year, a big praise. She comes for a few weeks and then misses a few weeks. There were some accidental deaths in their families this year and Goolmira's father died of cancer. We love Yerbol's mom and dad and Goolmira's mom. They are educated Kazakhs and it is always so interesting to talk to them. We know nearly all of their brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles. Pray for many in this family to see the glory of God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. |

Right and Below Right: Building relationships at our Ministry Center. Karowbek, Maria, and their son Adil (which means faithful in Kazak) had us over for Sunday "tea". As you can see this is more than tea but Kazakhs are masters of hospitality! We really like this family and hope to become better friends. This family has moved away to build a house. Maria's sister is a believer. Pray for their salvation. |
