International Ladies Bible Study 2003 Updates
Molly leads a weekly Bible study for English speaking wives of international businessmen who are temporarily living in Kazakhstan. She has assumed this responsibility over the last 2 years because everyone is new now except her. The study is advertised at the International Ladies Club every month and is held across the street from our house in what we call "The Compound". It is a gated community built for internationals but which has turned into a place for wealthy locals to live.
12/1/2002: Molly is excited because since our return from furlough one lady in particular has started growing in the Lord. She is asking many questions and reading her Bible more and more. The study takes place every Tuesday morning form 10-12. Please pray for salvation for unsaved husbands and grace in handling the challenges of 60 hour weeks and long periods away from home for these men and their wives.
2/11/2003: Molly has been greatly encouraged by one of her friends in this study who was saved last year and has grown so much in the Lord this year. It has been wonderful to see someone accept Christ and seek out Molly for teaching and encouragement. That is the good news about the study for the last 4 months. The bad news is that the study will be suspended indefinitely. Everyone who was in the study has now moved on with their international companies to other countries. Pray that the Lord will provide new people to come to this study.
